Active Failover

The Dynect Platform allows you to seamlessly update your DNS when that first server goes down, redistribute your traffic and totally avoid an outage event. We monitor on HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP or ICMP/Ping on a 24/7 basis.

Round Robin Load Balancing

The Dynect Platform supports Round-Robin DNS hostnames through our LB-DNS system. As a front-line Load Balancer, LB-DNS can be used to distribute load across a pool of servers in one or many locations.

Traffic Management (GSLB)

Traffic Management (DTM) is a Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) solution used by customers who want to distribute application load between datacenters around the globe, via rule sets with weighted or geo-targeted definitions.

CDN Manager

CDN Manager allows customers to geographically or weighted load balance amongst CNAME’s from different CDN's. Customers take advantage of this feature for both cost and performance reasons.

With the DynTLD Platform, Dyn Inc. offers registry operators around the world the best in domain name registration, DNS resolution and consulting services.
