WorldBlu Names Dyn A Top Democratic Workplace
Manchester, NH (April 10, 2012) – Dyn (formerly Dynamic Network Services, Inc.) has been named to the prestigious WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces 2012. In winning this honor, they join 47 other companies from across the world like HCL Technologies, New Belgium Brewery and Zappos.com, a client of Dyn’s.
Eligibility for this award is based entirely on employee feedback. This made the honor that much sweeter since it reinforced to management that staff appreciates the practices they are instituting.

Dyn Wants Companies to ‘Get Some IaaS’
March 13, 2012 (Manchester, NH) – Three years after launching a marketing campaign that helped define the enterprise Internet Infrastructure space, Dyn is set to do it again, unveiling their newest awareness campaign at South By Southwest Interactive Tuesday.
‘Get Some IaaS’ will focus on shining a bright light on what Infrastructure-as-a-Service is, something Dyn has been leading the charge on with managed/outsourced DNS and email delivery.
Over the company’s 13-year history, they found the term IaaS was not as well known as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and wanted to do something about it.
As a result, ‘Get Some IaaS’ was born and preparations for the rollout have been in motion for nearly a year with their annual sojourn to Austin, Texas’ South By Southwest Interactive (SXSWi) as the kickoff.
“The South By Southwest environment is such an intense blend of music and technology that it made perfect sense to unleash ‘Get Some IaaS’ there,” Dyn Chief Revenue Officer Kyle York explained.
The rollout will be celebrated at the Cedar Street Courtyard Tuesday with an 11-band lineup featuring indie favorites Dawes as the headliner. Co-promoted by GYK Marketing and 1band1brand, the sold-out event is a celebration of Dyn’s ‘Music Meets Tech’ networking series that mixes Internet technology companies with some of the fastest rising music acts in the country.

The lab is run by Dr. Soussan Djamasbi, associate professor of MIS, and features a state-of-the-art eye-tracking device. This device monitors where on websites people are actually looking, which often is different than what companies and web developers anticipate.
