A Look Back At PyCon 2012
Dyn’s theme for this year is simple: Better. Faster. Stronger. And what better way to celebrate that than by attending technical conventions and learning ways to improve our code, learning about new projects we can leverage, and taking part in what makes open source so successful: the community?
This year’s PyCon US in Santa Clara, CA, was the largest to date at over 2200 attendees – a sign that the Python community is truly thriving, especially considering the fact that the cap for registrations was set at 1500.

Mac OS X Development Moves In House
To coincide with the release of Mac OS X Updater 2.4, which adds support for OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), we decided to provide a little history behind the update client which lead up to this release.
Beyond adding proper Snow Leopard support, this release is defined by being the first release of the client since moving development of the client in-house to Dyn. Up until now, development of the OS X client was done by outside developers.

Dyn at DevDays Boston
Yesterday, myself and Eric Stein of the DynDNS development team attended StackOverflow‘s DevDays in Boston. It was an event filled with speakers talking about a variety of topics of interest to the development world including Python, iPhone development, Fogbugz, ASP.Net MVC, Javascript testing and Mono.
